Hi guys, Hazel here.
For this post I want to talk about the book for starters. (SPOILERS AHEAD)!
I think the book is amazing. I think it is very well written. I just love all the characters. But my #1 question is “Why did John Green have to kill Gus?” I mean really, out of everyone in the book he chooses him? Did he want our hearts broken? Or did he just have the urge to kill? When I first started TFIOS I thought Hazel was going to die because she was the one with cancer. But then Gus gets his cancer back. I mean, I know this world is not a wish granting factory, but still. Why couldn't he have killed off Peter van Houten?
Off to the next topic: Gus and Isaac. Everyone is talking about Hazel and Gus but Gus and Isaac have been friends since when? Probably since they were little. Did the book tell you when they met? If it weren't for Isaac, Hazel and Gus would have never met.
Don't forget to be awesome,
Hazel.
