*Announcer voice* Welcome back to the Blood of Olympus Weekly Countdown! There are now only four weeks remaining until the thrilling end to the Percy Jackson series comes out!
Hey guyys! Did ya miss me? No, don't answer that. Nobody got last week's quote right, but I do have to give an honorable mention to Jesica Pelcat for trying. The answer is... *Drum-roll in the distance* ... The Last Olympian! The clue to tell that it was in the first series was the fact that it was in first-person. So, yeah. Keep trying!
Can I just say that the irony of how Charles Beckendorf and Selina died is just depressing? Beckendorf, the son of Hephaestus, the god of forges and fire, died in an explosion. Fire. And Selina died for love, and to redeem herself. And she was a daughter of Aphrodite. See what I mean?
Sorry, that was off topic. One more thing, and then I'll get to the rest of the countdown.
I know that everyone is saying, 'If Rick kills anybody, I swear I'll kill him!' I'm not very sorry to say that I have to disagree. There has to be at least one death to make Blood of Olympus interesting. Just one. And I know you're all like, 'What?! Who?! You can't take any of my babies away from me!!' Trust me. I won't. The person that absolutely HAS to die is...............................................................................................................................................................................................Octavian. >:D (Please don't kill me!)
Okay, so, anywhoo. Today's random trivia is.... Did you know the actors from the Percy Jackson movies do NOT know the significance of blue food! When asked about it, Logan Lerman said that it had nothing to do with the movies. And if you don't know what blue food is, shame on you!
Now, the moment you've all been waiting for (Maybe)... The quote for this week.... "'With great power...comes great need to take a nap. Wake me up later.'" So please, please, PLEASE try to guess what book it's from! I don't care if you get it wrong, you'll still get an honorable mention for trying! Oh, and no looking in the books to find out!
Yours in Demigodishness,
Lindsay N.
